Local Players On Team Advancing To State Tourney

Hayden Hagarty and Landen Schmersahl play on the Trenton Junior Legion team that won first in their Division. The team will advance to the state tournament in Danville this weekend.

Hayden, who plays second and pitches, is the son of Michael and Jennifer Hagarty. Landen,who pitches and plays short stop, is the son of Jeremy and Lacey Schmersahl.  

Both players will be juniors at Okawville High.
