As COVID Spreads, Few Area Employers Require COVID Vaccines

The COVID vaccine is free and readily available – but not even all health care providers are requiring their employees to be vaccinated.

Friendship Manor “strongly encourages”, but does not require employees to get the vaccine, said administrator Megan Reinburg. Only about half the staff have opted to get the vaccine, she said.
