Rosemary Terveer

Rosemary Terveer, nee Buss, 86, of St. Libory, IL, born Aug. 13, 1934 in Johannisburg Twp., IL died Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at her home, surrounded by her family. 

Rosemary was a homemaker, a member of St. Liborius Catholic Church in St. Libory, St. Liborius Council of Catholic Women and American Legion Auxiliary, Post 683, St. Libory.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Anton and Elizabeth, nee Stein, Buss, husband, Daniel J. Terveer whom she married in Lively Grove, IL on Feb. 6, 1957 and who died Dec. 24, 2019, son-in-law, Wayne Mueth, two brothers, Raymond and Andrew Buss and a sister, Deloras Terveer.

Surviving are her children, Kenneth (Beverly) Terveer of Marissa, IL, Charles (Pamela) Terveer of St. Libory, IL, Jane Mueth (Duane Waeltz) of Marissa, IL, Pamela (Daryl) Clerc of Prairie du Rocher, IL; grandchildren, Tony Terveer, Chelsea (Tyler) Castiller, Travis (Ashley) Terveer, Lacey Terveer, Benjamin (Becky) Mueth, Jonathan (Holly) Mueth, Tyler (Ashley) Mueth, Andrew (Jenna) Mueth, William (Sarah) Mueth, Dylan Mueth, Jennine (Cody) Weber, Elliot Clerc, Tanya (Jeremy) Stanley, John (Whitney) Junger, Abby Junger; 18 great grandchildren; brother, Jerome (Judy) Buss of Oakdale, IL; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Marilyn Buss, Ruth Ann Buss, Roy Terveer, Robert (Diane) Terveer, Paul Terveer, Carol Terveer, Estelle (Dan) Dalman; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation: From 4 to 7 PM Thursday, June 3, 2021 and from 9 to 10 AM Friday, June 4 at St. Liborius Catholic Church, St. Libory, IL. – COVID Restrictions – Facial coverings and social distancing are required at church.

Funeral: A funeral Mass will be held 10 AM Friday, June 4, 2021 at St. Liborius Catholic Church with Father Paul Wienhoff officiating. Burial will follow in St. Liborius Catholic Cemetery.
