Thomas “Tom” W. Ronan
Thomas “Tom” William Ronan, 61, of Locust Grove, Georgia, passed away on April 10, 2021. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on June 29, 1959 to H.R. Ronan, Jr. and Elvera Blumhorst Ronan and raised in Oakdale, Illinois.
Tom graduated from Nashville High School in 1977, graduated from Spartan School of Aeronautics in 1988 and was a mechanic for Delta Airlines for 31 years. He enjoyed hunting, horses, anything to do with engines and reloading ammunition.
Tom is survived by a brother in Canada; his brother Robert “Bob” Ronan and wife Jeanie of Walnut Hill, IL and their children Mandy (Mike) Brammeier, Carie (Jason) Boulanger, Jill Ronan, Treva (Ryan) Diekemper and Emily (Bryan) Henrichs; his sister, Kathy McKinnerney and husband Mac of Covington, Texas and their two sons, Shea (Taylor) and Casey McKinnerney; as well as many cousins, aunts and uncles, great nieces and great nephews.
The family will greet friends at 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at the Oakdale Town Hall located at 75 N Weigh Street in Oakdale, IL.
