Patricia A. Curl

Patricia Ann Curl left this earth on the evening of Saturday April 10, 2021 at Friendship Manor Nursing Home in Nashville, IL.  She is now pain free in a place few know about, Summerland. Summerland is much like heaven; it is full of majesty, beauty and wonder, free of pain or sadness.  It is a place of perpetual summer, where Pat can continue to be a free spirit and one with nature.

Pat was born on June 7, 1950, the daughter of Ted and Mary (Luczaj) Kurwicki and they preceded her in death.

Pat was a kind woman with a huge heart.  She always opened her door to friends and family. Pat enjoyed cooking and baking, and she loved animals. She was an avid gardener with a green thumb and the ability to grow anything. She enjoyed listening to St. Louis Cardinals baseball, reading and music was always a part of her life.

Left to mourn the passing of Pat is her son Joshua Curl and significant other, Christie Schmidt of Nashville, IL, her sister Barb (Dale) Rogier of Highland IL, as well as many relatives and friends.

Per the wishes of Pat, cremation was performed.

A celebration of Life service will be held at the Campagna Funeral Home in Nashville, IL on Thursday, April 22, 2021 from 4 P.M. until 7 P.M.

Should friends desire, memorials can be made to the NCHS Drama Club or the NCHS Music Department and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.

“I understood at a very early age that in Nature, I felt everything I should feel in church but never did.  Walking in the woods, I felt in touch with the universe and with the spirit of the universe”-Alice Walker
