Jerry D. Frieman
Jerry David Frieman, 81, of Nashville, passed away at 2:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis.
He was born on December 11, 1939 in Decatur, the son of Kenneth and Fern Carson Frieman. He married Barbara J. Dinkelman on January 1, 1958 in Nashville and she survives. Also left to mourn his passing are his children, Barb Price (Jim Fewell), Brenda (Craig) Wilkey, Brad Frieman, Brent Frieman, Britt (Matthew) Simmons, all of Nashville, and Bryan (Sheila) Frieman of Ashley; a sister, Jackie (Denny) Uthe of Washburn, Iowa; 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandson, 11 brother in laws and sister in laws and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, James Fahnestock; two sisters, Mary Alice Auld and Mary Jane Campbell; a grandson, Jordan Price; and a great granddaughter, Maris Schmale.
Jerry was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Nashville and ASCME Union. He received his Christian Baptism on June 13, 1948. He loved to hunt, fish tend to his garden and spend time with his family.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Nashville with Rev. James Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Friends may call from 9:00 to 10:45 a.m. on Thursday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or Trinity- St. John Lutheran School. Styninger Funeral Home in Nashville which is in charge of arrangements.
