Hattie H. Pinski

Mrs. Hattie H. Pinski of Nashville, IL, departed this life at the Washington County Hospital-Extended Care in Nashville on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at 1:07 A.M.  She had attained the age of 94 years, 10 months and 2 days.

Mrs. Pinski was born on May 16, 1926 in Bolo Township, Washington County, IL, the daughter of Casimer and Pauline (nee Palucki) Piasecki.  She was united in marriage to Floyd Pinski on May 17, 1947 at Our lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Posen, IL and he preceded her in death on January 27, 2000.

Hattie worked in St. Louis, MO until her retirement.  She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Nashville, IL where she helped clean the church with the other ladies.  Hattie enjoyed gardening, quilting, her flowers and dancing, especially the polka and waltz.  She dearly loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

Left to mourn her passing is her daughter-in-law, Ruth Pinski of Nashville, IL; two grandchildren, Tammy Jahnke and husband Chris and Joe Pinski and wife Amy all of Nashville, IL; five great-grandchildren, Tyler, Todd and Colleen Jahnke and Ethan and Bennett Pinski; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Benedict “Bennie” Pinski; great-granddaughter, Cindy Jahnke; four brothers, Louie, Dave, Sylvester and Leo Piasecki and six sisters, Cecelia Damazyn, Anna Bauza, Martha Barczewski, Susie Pinski, Angelina Sherman and her twin sister, Regina Filipiak.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Ann Catholic Church in Nashville, IL on Monday, March 22, 2021 at 10 A.M. with Fr. Andy Knopik officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at the Campagna Funeral Home in Nashville, IL on Monday from 8 A.M. until 9:30 A.M. 

Should friends desire, mass offerings or memorials can be made to the St. Ann Catholic Church or St. Ann Catholic Cemetery and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.
