Mrs. Imogene S. Daniels of Nashville, IL, formerly of Ashley, IL, departed this life at the Washington County Hospital Extended Care in Nashville on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at 8:40 PM. She had attained the age of 91 years, 1 month and 22 days.
Mrs. Daniels was born on January 10, 1930 at Ashley, IL, the daughter of Henry and Bessie (nee Clark) Schubach. She was united in marriage to Paul E. Daniels on September 16, 1950 in Ashley, IL and he preceded her in death on February 9. 1984.
Imogene was a teacher for 38 years, with a majority of the time teaching 4th grade at Ashley Grade School in Ashley, IL and retiring in 1987. She was a member of the Ashley Baptist Church, the Royal Neighbors and she served on the Liberty Cemetery Board. Imogene enjoyed church activities and she loved working in her yard.
Left to mourn her passing are several nieces and nephews, other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, Mildred Ferda; two brothers, Clarence (Jennie) Schubach and Harold (Irene) Schubach.
A private graveside service will be held at the Liberty Cemetery in Ashley, IL on Sunday, March 7, 2021 with Rev. Ken Jayne officiating.
Should friends desire, memorials can be made to the Liberty Cemetery and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home, who is assisting the family with arrangements.
