Eldor A. Wernecke
Eldor A. Wernecke, 73 of Breese, formerly of Covington, passed away at 10:40 p.m. on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at the Villas of St. James Place in Breese. He was born on January 2, 1948 in Centralia, the son of Albert and Selma Wecke Wernecke. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Left to mourn his passing is his sister Mary (Leon) Kuhl of Nashville; a nephew, Greg (Michelle) Kuhl of Nashville; a great nephew, Drew Kuhl; and two great nieces, Katie and Jill Kuhl.
Eldor was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Covington and a graduate of Nashville High School. He farmed in the Covington area and retired from Kuhl Lumber and Pallet. Eldor enjoyed watching and attending tractor pulls.
A private graveside service will be held at St. Luke’s Lutheran Cemetery in Covington with Rev. Timothy Mueller officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke’s Lutheran Cemetery.
