OHS National Honor Society Collects Magazines for Murray Center

The Okawville High School National Honor Society conducted a unique, but very needed, fundraiser for the Murray individuals.

The group held a magazine drive to collect hundreds of magazines for the Murray individuals. Members put out boxes in area stores, collected the magazines and put them in bundles.

The Murray residents love magazines, especially now during the pandemic, and these magazines will be greatly appreciated. The individuals look through the magazines, cut out pictures, make collages, decorate their rooms with pictures and just enjoy the different magazines.

NHS members Bella Auer, and Nathan Lintker delivered the magazines to Murray Parents Association President Rita Winkeler’s home. She will take  them to the center.

The moderator for the National Honor Society at Okawville High School is Counselor Tricia Schleifer.
