DuBois Mayor Candidate To Pursue Clean-up Efforts
The DuBois Village Board town clean-up effort that started with one mayor and continued with the next after her resignation, will be a priority of candidate Chris Bennett. Bennett, who has served on the board one year, is the only candidate for mayor in the April election.
Bennett said that cleaning up derelict buildings is important in the 191 population town. He takes pride in the town where he and his wife Andrea moved eight years ago.
“This is a quiet town of hardworking, good people. We want the town to look better to attract like-minded people,” Bennett said.
Bennett also said that he plans to apply for grants to make village updates.
