Okawville Harriers Hitting Their Strides

Okawville harriers are hitting their stride as autumn gets underway with multiple cross country races in recent weeks.

Okawville traveled to Marissa September 15, where both the Rockets and Lady Rockets finished second in their respective races.

Grant Schliefer had the best finish among all of Okawville’s runners, finishing second overall in the boys’ race with a time of 18:11.

The Lady Rockets also finished second at Marissa with three runners finishing among the top ten: Cindy Snyder (4th – 22:13), Chloe Tepe (6th – 22:54) and Lydia Luechtefeld (10th – 23:50).
