Public Input Sought on Superintendent Search

The West Washington Co CUSD 10 Board of Education is conducting a search for a new superintendent.

“The selection of a new superintendent is probably the most important decision a board of education has to make,” a statement from the board said. “Therefore, the Board has hired the Illinois Association of School Boards (IASB) to assist in this process.”

The Board of Education is seeking input from the public during the search process. As part of that search process, Board members, staff, parents and community members can complete an online survey provided by the IASB.

The results will be tallied and used by the Board and Screening Team to develop a brochure to advertise the position.

Community members can visit https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/V6SFXRP to offer input to the search committee.

The survey will be open until August 20, 2020 at 11:45 p.m.
