Pass the Pride Scavenger Hunt Kicks Off This Week

The Okawville FFA Chapter is organizing a scavenger hunt for 26 Rocket boxes scattered around town this week.

The Pass the Pride Scavenger Hunt begins Wednesday at noon and runs through Friday, July 31.

FFA adviser Josh Berg put together the program, which uses an app called Goose Chase to keep track of the Rocket boxes that were distributed earlier this summer.

“People download the Goose Chase app to their phones, and it works with GPS,” Berg said. “Each Rocket box has a set GPS range that will mark it as found if the person is in the right location.”

The app will ask for the game code, which is 67JRV6. The password for the game is Rocket.

When hunters find the Rockets, they can upload a photo to social media using the hashtag #passtherocketpride and tag @Okawville FFA and @West Washington County Progress Initiative.
