Video Gaming Resumes At Area Businesses

Business owners and their patrons are glad to see video gaming resume July 1, five days after Phase 4 of Restore Illinois began.

Club Exit 41 owner Gary Rennegarbe said, however, that he is doubtful that gaming will return to the pre-COVID-19 level.
“Some people are scared. They won’t be flocking in,” he said. “Others told me that they saved so much money by not playing, they won’t play again. If they’ve done without it this long, they can do without it longer, they said.”

Rennegarbe said that he knew of someone who used savings by not playing video games into paying off his camper and boat.
