Nascote Answers Call for PPE for Health Care Workers

In times of pandemic, an all-hands-on-deck approach is what can make all of the difference. That approach works just fine for Nascote Industries in Nashville.

Nascote recently assembled 24,000 face shields to help local health professionals in their battle against COVID-19. Finding requisite amounts of personal protection equipment (PPE) has been difficult for many hospitals and health care centers during the pandemic.

“Our parent company Magna Exteriors bought enough materials for 100,000 face shields, and then put out a call to help assemble them,” said Nascote Human Resources Manager Jeff Dahlquist.
