Another COVID-19 Case Identified in County
Washington County Health Department announced that another lab-confirmed case of COVID-19 has been identified in a county resident, bringing the total number of cases in Washington County to eight as of press time.
The resident in this latest case is in close contact with one of the previously diagnosed cases and has been in quarantine since before symptoms started. The person is isolated and in stable condition.
WCHD also announced it had released another individual who recovered from isolation orders, making a total of five confirmed cases closed.
Currently, the health department is following three active lab-confirmed cases, as well as their close contacts, to help reduce the spread of the disease. A total of 122 negative test results have been reported as of last weekend.
