New Minden Man Charged in Kemp’s Korner Burglary
A New Minden man is facing burglary charges following a break-in at Kemp’s Korner in New Minden Friday night.
Robert E. Keeney, 58, was arrested and charged with burglary and criminal damage to property as a result of an investigation by the Washington County Sheriff’s Department and Nashville Police.
According to the report, as sheriff’s deputy responded to a report of an activated alarm Friday night at around 10:20 p.m. The deputy found that the front door to the convenience store had been damaged.
Police were able to identify a suspect vehicle by reviewing video surveillance with the business owner, which led to Keeney’s arrest.
