Working on the Railroad is a Hobby for Nashville Couple
Andy Clarke, is the founder and main builder for the Bluestone Southern Railroad along with his wife, Jane . The couple’s G-scale train set runs throughout their basement and out into their yard.
The Clarkes have worked for several years on a train set that winds it way around their basement and out into their back yard, a huge set-up that includes reproductions of familiar places like Addieville, Okawville and Nashville.
Two passions have defined Andy’s life and career. “Ever since I was a kid, I’ve loved planes and trains,” he said. “I loaded cargo in planes for 22 years in the Air Force, and now I get to work on trains for a hobby.”
