Dorothy E. Harre of Nashville, IL departed this life at 12:34 pm on Friday, November 15, 2019 at the Washington County Hospital in Nashville, IL. She had attained the age of 83 years, 11 months and 16 days.
Dorothy was born on November 29, 1935 in Shattuc, IL. The daughter of John and Pauline (nee Knolhoff) Kleiboeker. She was baptized and confirmed at the Ferrin Lutheran Church in Ferrin, IL. Dorothy was united in marriage for 60 years to Melvin F. Harre on September 7, 1957 at Ferrin Lutheran Church, Ferrin, IL and he preceded her in death on February 24, 2018.
Dorothy was a housewife and helped on the Family Farm. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Nashville where she was active in the Fellowship Club, Ladies Aid, Cheer Guild, and LWML. She also was a member of the Washington County Farm Bureau and Washington County HCE. She enjoyed quilting, flower gardening and spending time with her family, especially attending her grandchildren’s athletic events.
Dorothy is survived by her son, Steve Harre and his wife Shelly, a daughter, Rhonda Mueller and husband Gary all of Nashville, IL; five grandchildren, Staci Twardowski and husband Jeff, Shannon Provart and husband Josh, Kyle Mueller and wife Kelsey, Shaye Harre and special friend Ben Wiegmann and Dylan Mueller and special friend Kendra Wilken all of Nashville; three great grandchildren, Ella Twardowski and Ramzey and Izzy Provart; brother, Duane Kleiboeker and wife Becky of Centralia; two sisters-in law, Mary Ann Kleiboeker of Centralia and Mildred Cramer of Nashville; brother-in-law, Arnold Harre and wife Lorraine of Nashville; an aunt, Irene Faulstich of St. Louis, MO; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Howard Kleiboeker; two brothers-in-law, Reverend Stanley Harre and Harvey Cramer and a sister-in-law, Selma Harre.
Funeral services will be held at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Nashville, IL on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at 11 AM with Rev. Aaron Kotila and Rev. James Miller officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at the Campagna Funeral Home in Nashville, IL on Monday from 5 PM until 8 PM and on Tuesday from 7:30 AM until 9 AM and then at the church from 10 AM until the service hour.
Should friends desire, memorials can be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church, Trinity Lutheran Church Ladies Aid, or a charity of the donor’s choice and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.
