Former Local Resident Charged With Shaking, Injuring Her Baby

Alyssa Bleisch has been charged with aggravated battery for alledgedly shaking her 8 month old son. The child suffered severe head trauma and was taken to Cardinal Glennon Hospital.

Bleisch was charged last week in Randolph County for the incident that occurred July 23.

The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services helped conduct the investigation.
