Okawville Advances to State With Second Straight Regional Title

The Okawville Junior Lady Rockets punched earned a spot in the state tournament with their second straight regional title last week.

After cruising to an easy 15-0 win in only four innings in the postseason opener last Tuesday, Okawville hung on to beat Lebanon 5-4 in the regional championship game Thursday.

The Junior Lady Rockets advanced to face Ziegler this Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Perry County Fairgrounds in Pinckneyville.
