A new website myokawville.com has been launched to promote the West Washington County Unit District region as an ideal place to live. The message is that the area offers strong schools, supportive community, and is a peaceful and safe place to raise a family.

Information about schools, listing of businesses and their services and hours, organizations, churches events and real estate for sale within the Unit School District is included. The website has numerous photos.

Information about schools shows that a high percent of Okawville High graduates pursue further education, many go on to successful careers, and that the community invests in its students, as evident by the number of scholarships presented at graduation.

The project was undertaken by the West Washington County Progress Initiative marketing committee to attract people to move to the area.
