Local Teen Places In Grand American Trap Shooting

Austin Schaeffer, better known as Doc, and his Lindenwood University shooting team placed in the Grand American at  Sparta.

As an individual Schaeffer placed 4th in sporting clays with 185 out of 200 and 8th in skeet shooting, with 96 out of 100.  In another competition he shot 199 out of 200, but did not place.

his is Schaeffer’s senior year for the shooting team on the Lindenwood, St. Charles, Mo. campus. Fifty avid shooters from as far as South Africa and multiple states compete on the Lindenwood team that has won the National Championship 15 out of the last 16 years.
