Local Select Softball Players End Seasons

Midwest Menace

Shaye Sawicki wrapped up her season on the Midwest Menace softball team by playing in the USSA Southern Nationals in Gulf Shores, Alabama last week.

The team placed second, losing the championship game in extra innings.

Lady Roughnecks

The St. Jacob Lady Roughnecks 18U fastpitch softball team wrapped up its final season on Sunday, July 28, placing 1st in the USSSA Shootout in St. Lou Tournament held in St. Charles, MO.

Lauren Heckert was one of three pitchers for the team. Lauren pitched the final game, assisting her team in clinching its final tournament.
