PTO Book Fair Receives Award

The Okawville Grade School PTO Book Fair has received the President’s Award for Exceptional Performance. The award from Scholastic Books was based on the “Grand Night” to kick off the book fair.  Stations included a reading corner, photo booth, snack, and craft, as well as shopping the book fair.

The event was a huge hit, with over 100 people attending, including students, parents, and grandparents.

The $500 in scholastic dollars will be used to buy new books and products for the classroom.
