The Irvington Friendly Care medical practice closed in Irvington last week and will open in Hoyleton at the end of July.
Renamed Hoyleton Rural Health Care, it is now located on Main St. The practice occupies a building that was formerly Terra Estates, a home for developmentally disabled adults. Residents of the home moved to Joshua Manor, another home in Hoyleton for disabled adults.
Physicians Assistant Denise Orrill staffs the medical practice. Hours are Tuesday through Friday, 9:30 to 5.
Irvington Village President Gera Sims said that Dr. Jerry Beguelin, who owns the building vacated by Irvington Friendly Care, is arranging another practice to move there. Bandy’s Pharmacy will remain in the medical building in Irvington.
