Future CILA House Receives Tax Exemption

The state has given a property tax exemption certificate to a house in Nashville that will be converted to a CILA, a group home for disabled adults.

That means a $26,171 annual loss for taxing districts in Washington County.

The family of the late Jerry and Marilyn King donated their former residence on Windswept Drive to the CILA headquartered in Breese.

Full details in this week’s issue.
