St. Libory Legion Sponsors New Junior Legion Baseball Team

Boys in St. Libory and surrounding towns have the opportunity to play on a Junior Legion team, thanks to the sponsorship of the St. Libory American Legion.

Brian Mense and Curt Lougeay coach the team of boys who will be high school sophomores and juniors. The players attend school in Freeburg, New Athens, and Okawville. Boys ages 13-17 are eligible to play.

Many of the players are versatile and play multiple positions, said Coach Mense. Most have played on select teams in the past.
