Bonnie L. Hoffman

Mrs. Bonnie L. Hoffman of New Minden, IL departed this life at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, MO. on Sunday June 16, 2019 at 11:15 AM.  She had attained the age of 73 years, 1 month and 24 days.

Mrs. Hoffman was born on April 23, 1946 in St. Louis, MO the daughter of Melvin and Hulda (Sprehe) Voltmer.  She was united in marriage to Ronald Hoffman on April 24, 1965 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in New Minden, IL and he survives her passing.

Bonnie was a homemaker and a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in New Minden, IL where she was a beloved Sunday School teacher for 20 years.  Bonnie loved her animals and she enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Left to mourn her passing is her husband Ronald Hoffman of New Minden, IL; a son, Jeff Hoffman and his wife Andrea (Karmeier) of New Minden, IL; three grandchildren, Carli, Cade and Gracie Hoffman; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held at the St. John’s Lutheran Church in New Minden, IL on Friday, June 21, 2019 at 11 AM with Pastor Timothy Mueller officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at the St. John’s Lutheran Church in New Minden, IL on Thursday from 5 PM until 8 PM and on Friday from 10 AM until the service hour.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. John’s Lutheran Church and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home, who is assisting the family with arrangements.
