School Board Fills Several Coaching Positions

The West Washington County Community Unit District 10 School Board filled multiple coaching positions at Thursday night’s meeting.
Following the resignation of Rhonda Hormann and Tom Hormann as junior high volleyball coaches, the board hired Deb Frederking (also the High School volleyball coach) as the Junior Lady Rockets’ head coach and Taylor Hesseldenz as the assistant coach. Frederking was also hired as an assistant coach for the OJHS track team, which is a new position.
Kim Lintker was hired as the fifth and sixth grade girls basketball coach. Houston Bowers was named the new assistant coach for OJHS softball, and Rusty Kolweier was approved as a volunteer assistant in the bass fishing program.

The Board also heard from the Superintendent and Principal on several other matters and areas of interest. To read the full article, pick up this week’s issue.
