Tami Craig Schilling had the honor of being the guest speaker at the University of Illinois College of Agriculture, Consumer and Environmental Sciences graduation Sunday.
Each year the College of ACES selects an alumnus to share with the graduates a few thoughts on life after college, career advice, and lessons learned along the way.
In her speech “Embrace the Journey” Schilling told students that they have reached the starting line of their journey and they own where it takes them from here on out. “Being asked to speak at the ACES graduation ceremony was a humbling honor, and I was literally giddy when I got the call,” said Schilling. “Being a part of the ceremony is a memory I’ll never forget.”
