High School & Jr. High Track Off And Running

Both the Jr. High and High School had multiple track meets this last week.

The Okawville Junior High boys and girls track teams had a busy week last week, starting last Monday when they competed at Mater Dei. The Junior Lady Rockets finished first out of the four teams competing, and the boys were fourth.

The Okawville High school Track teams competed in Invitational meets this past week at Chester and Breese Central. The Chester Meet included host Chester, Pinckneyville, Red Bud, Steeleville, New Athens, Gibault, Shawnee and Christ our Rock. The Tri-county meet  at Central features all the high schools in Washington, Clinton and Bond Counties.

In the Chester Invitational, the boys finished 5th as a team out of 9 and the girls finished 6th.
