JV Rockets Top Breese Central; Varsity Drop Three of Four

The Okawville Rockets junior varsity beat Breese Central April 1 by a score of 3-1.

Nick Rulevish was in control on the mound. He struck out five Cougars in six innings of work, giving up just the one run. Ethan Kolweier closed out the game with an inning of scoreless relief.

Kolweier also had an RBI single n the fifth inning. Caleb Unverfehrt also drove in a run with a single in the second inning. Levi Traub, Carson Wiese, Rulevish and  Dylan Clark also had singles for the Rockets.

The Varsity Rockets dropped to 7-5 on the year with a win and three losses last week.
