Marjorie A. Bergmann
Mrs. Marjorie Ann Bergmann of Nashville, IL, departed this life at Washington County Hospital in Nashville, IL on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at 3:03 PM. She had attained the age of 89 years, 1 month and 20 days.
Marjorie was born on December 10, 1929 in Washington County, IL, the daughter of Paul and Alma (Karstens) Lilienkamp. She was united in marriage to Leroy W.M. Bergmann on August 15, 1948 in St. Louis, MO and he preceded her in death on April 27, 1996.
Marjorie owned and operated the Reaban’s Drive In in Nashville, IL for many years. She later worked at the Derrick Restaurant in Nashville as a cook for many years until her retirement. Marjorie was a member of the Nashville Assembly of God Church in Nashville, IL. She enjoyed attending church, doing jigsaw puzzles and she loved spending time with her family.
Left to mourn her passing are her six children, James Bergman and his wife Paula, Peggy Ruehl all of Nashville, IL, Patricia Bathon and husband Francis of Pinckneyville, IL, Amy Moeller, Michael Bergmann and wife Susan all of Nashville, IL, Vicky Kabat and husband Ronald of Chapman, KS; a brother-in-law, Henry Bergmann of Nashville, IL; two sister-in-law, Darlene Bergmann and Marie Bergmann both of Nashville, IL; 13 grandchildren, Carianne (Ryan) Bricker, Jada (Lanny) Diedrich, Scott (Rebecca) Ruehl, Shelly (Lonnie) Hinds, Christy (Kevin) Goldman, Russell (Haley) Bathon, Patrick (Ashley) Bathon, Lucas (Corrine) Moeller, Kaci Moeller, Christopher and Tanner Bergmann, Ashlee Ogrzewalla and Nicolos (special friend Cherissa Voit) Kabat; 23 great grandchildren, Carson, Mallory and Morgan Bricker, Evan and Lucy Diedrich, Emilie (Zach) Halfacre, Spencer and Grace Ruehl, Tyler and Dalton Hinds, Kaitlyn and Keith Goldman, Clayton and Cooper Bathon, Ethan Kellerman, Arthur Bathon, Presley Reeves, Harper and Lennon Moeller, Blayze Moeller and Hadley and Camden Ogrzewalla; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Toby Jay Bergmann; three sisters, Beatrice Nehrt and Pauline and Lois Bergmann; three brothers, Jim, Leroy and Jay Lynn; four brothers-in-law, Herman, Arnold and Norman Bergmann and Bert Nehrt; and two sisters-in-law, Audrey Lilienkamp and Mildred Lilienkamp .
Funeral services will be held at the Nashville Assembly of God Church in Nashville, IL on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 2 PM with Rev. Matt Craft officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Paul Cemetery in Nashville, IL.
Friends may call at the Campagna Funeral Home in Nashville, IL on Friday from 5 PM until 8 PM and on Saturday at the church from 12 PM until the service hour.
Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the Nashville Assembly of God Church or the American Diabetes Association and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.
