School Board Hires New Teacher During Meeting
The West Washington County Community Unit District 10 School Board hired a new teacher during a busy meeting last Thursday night.
Theresa Kolweier was hired to replace Jennifer Mason as the kindergarten through third grade special education teacher. Mason had been with the district for approximately 11 years, according to superintendent Scott Fuhrhop.
Kolweier had previously been working as an aide in the district. She started in her new position when school began following Christmas vacation.
