Glen Kolweier

Glen F. Kolweier, 70, of Sparta passed away at 2:45PM, Thursday, November 22, 2018, at the St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in O’Fallon.

Glen was born on August 15, 1948, in Washington, County, Illinois, the son of Earl and Laverne (Kruse) Kolweier. He was a veteran of the US Air Force during Vietnam, he retired from FS in Nashville, Illinois. He married Jane A. Craig, on February 17, 2007, at the Marissa Presbyterian Church. Glen was a member of the Marissa Presbyterian Church.

Glen is survived by his wife; Jane Kolweier, of Sparta, 4 children; Amy Kolweier, of New Baden, Mike (Sarah) Kolweier, of Waterloo, Brett (Lauren) Kolweier, of Okawville, and Bryce (Ashley) Kolweier, of Okawville, 3 grandchildren, with one grandchild on the way; Luke, Lillian, and Tessa. He is also survived by a brother; Wayne (Cheri) Kolweier, of Chicago, Illinois, many nephews, and a host of friends.

Mr. Kolweier was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Family. Wilson’s Funeral Home in Steeleville is assisting the family with the arrangements.
