Several area basketball players were among the 17 that the Belleville News Democrat named the top talent for 2018-19 season.
Okawville’s Wyatt Krohne averaged nine points a game last year as a junior. He shot better than 48 percent from beyond the 3-point arc and had 59 three-pointers.
Freeburg High player, Luke Ervie of St. Libory averaged 15.6 points as a sophomore last year. He made 49 3-point goals, shot 43 percent from beyond the 3-point arc and averaged more than 4 rebounds per game.
Nashville High player Bryce Bultman averaged 13 points last year. The 6-4 senior has signed to play at McKendree University next year.
Nashville High’s Carson Parker averaged in double figures last season. He is a 6-3 junior.
