Pitcher Kirk Rueter of Nashville was one of the players of the 2002 Giants  World Series team that was honored at a reunion June 23. It was held at AT & T Park in San Francisco as part of the 60 years in San Francisco celebration.

People attending the VIP Triples Alley event had access to a panel of the World Series team, which include included Rueter, Barry Bonds, Jason Schmidt, and Manager Dusty Baker.

Ticket holders received Kirk Rueter’s “Woody’s World” bobbleheads, which was a nod to the fan-favorite bobblehead given away in the 2003 season. Rueter was nicknamed “Woody” because of his resemblance to the character in the animated movie “Toy Story”.
