Blake Meentemeyer, a 2004 Okawville High School graduate, has been tapped for a position at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. He is now the Assistant Director of Golf Maintenance Operations for the two 18 hole golf courses located there.

Madelyn Tepe competed at the IHSA State Cross Country Meet last weekend at Detweiler Park in Peoria. The Okawville senior finished 69th overall out of 208 runners with a time of 19:16.

On Sept. 19, the Volleyball Lady Rockets traveled to play in the first round of the Trico Tournament. They faced Steeleville and were defeated 14-21 and 13-21.
